Forecast in Brief for Sunday the 27th May 2018



Northland to Whanganui, including Coromandel, Bay of Plenty and the central high country
Mainly fine today, apart from isolated showers in the west. Showers tomorrow, some heavy, clearing south of Auckland after dark.

Manawatu and Kapiti
Mainly fine, apart from isolated showers overnight and tomorrow.

Gisborne to Wairarapa and Wellington
Remaining showers clearing this afternoon then fine. However, a few showers spreading north again tomorrow, some maybe heavy.

Nelson and inland Marlborough
Mainly fine.

Coastal Marlborough and Canterbury

High cloud today, with the odd shower after dark. Tomorrow, showers near the coast spreading further inland from afternoon.

Buller and Westland
Rain later this afternoon or evening. A few showers tomorrow clearing in the afternoon, then fine.

Otago, Southland and Fiordland
Occasional showers. Snow to 600 metres overnight.

Chatham Islands
A few showers, some heavy later tomorrow.
