Can this be an shaving bowl?? The indentation on the rim could be for the chin. Worth a shot.

I am trying to get an idea of scale...is it blown up or normal size?

The bottom part looks like its the inside and its indented ...so the object has a uniform thickness...like a helmet or something.

Might be a bit big for that Martin :)

Size, a standard one would be 2 inches or 5cm.
So the image is slightly bigger.

The top is the top.
Look at the shape of it.

Make an allowance for camera flash reflection.

To narrow it down - think transport.

No to those but Babs has the right idea with her guesses.

Tis the top of something.
Tis smaller than the photo.
The camera flash is reflecting on it.

It would be classes as an accessory and attached to "transport".

I will leave that obscure for now :)

Is it the little cap doo hickey you put over the trailer ball to stop it rusting???? They are usually silver and people tend to pinch them.
