Can you tell us what it is made off. Has it something to do with the trailer light connection cord?? It looks like the connection that fits over the tow ball but the colours is all wrong, unless it is a sparkling new one.

Okay have looked and compared with our trailer. It is not the silver ball cover, unless ours is different, It looks so much like this actual coupling that goes over the ball but ours is dirty old metal. The only thing left is the electrical plug, nothing like ours but I do have a memory of a silver rarole plug for a caravan that plugs into the van?
??

I have just re read the answers just in case I have missed it. I dont think so.
Valerie it is starring you in the mooch
You keep using the words but not actually guessing that which it is.
Its not a tow bar ball cover.
Its not the coupling that goes over the tow bar ball.
Not plugs that plug in the trailer.
Its chrome.
What have you not guessed?
Anyone?

My towball might have been chrome once.....but it is well used and is essential on any car I own rather than being an accessory.
