Waitomo to Wellington, including the central high country and Wairarapa
Cloud and any remaining showers clearing this morning, then fine.

Gisborne and Hawkes Bay
Fine, becoming cloudy tonight.

Nelson, Buller and Westland
Fine in Nelson. A few showers developing in the west from Hokitika northwards this morning, clearing later.

Fiordland
Cloudy with drizzle at times, especially in the south.

Marlborough and Canterbury
Showers clearing in Canterbury overnight and in Marlborough this morning. Isolated afternoon showers about the foothills, then becoming cloudy about the coast later.

Otago and Southland
Mainly fine. Isolated showers about the south coast clearing this morning. Isolated afternoon showers about inland North Otago.

Chatham Islands
Low cloud and drizzle clearing this morning.
