Auckland & Northland
Cloudy spells with westerly winds, a little breezy at times. Some rain moves into the Auckland area in the evening then into Northland at night.

Bay Of Plenty, Waikato & Central North Island
Sunny spells and some increasing cloud, showers move into the Central North Island around midday then the Waikato mid afternoon and towards the Bay Of Plenty in the evening. Westerly winds.

Eastern North Island
Sunny with some high cloud, light winds for most although northwesterlies will be breezy at times about Wairarapa.
Highs: 17-19

Western North Island
Cloudy periods with west to northwesterly winds, the odd brief shower at times.
Highs: 14-15

Wellington
Sunny with some cloud. Northerlies, brisk at times from afternoon. Cloud thickens overnight.

Nelson
Sunny spells with westerly winds tending more northwest in the afternoon.

Marlborough
Sunny with some high cloud, light winds pick up from the northwest in the afternoon.
