Rain Glorious Rain, my Water tank will be loving this. Overcast with just the occasional passing shower during the day but a couple were quite heavy, tonight it is really raining. First time we have had Rain Fade on the Telly since our huge downpour weekend way back in April. "The Calm before the Storm" would very aptly describe the wind speeds overnight with wind gusts of less than 5 km/hr (South through East touching North then settling in the North East) until 9:00am but then it picked up and filled in pretty quickly to be in the 20/25 km/hr range by 12:00 (North East), and the same North Easterly has been pretty much gusting between 25/35 km/hr except for the single peak gust for the day of 44 km/hr at 20:50 ever since. Our Max wind gust also seems to have heralded the rain from the North/North East. The Barometer managed to hang on in the 1016 to 1018 hPa range until 12:00 but has since taken a major dive to currently be at 1008.5 hPa and is still falling at -0.5 hPa. Humidity finally touched 99% at 07:22 today for the first time in over 2 days but has now flat lined there since 18:45 this evening.
