Wind gust recorded in WD and then disappeared.
« on: May 07, 2013, 07:00:22 PM »
The 114.2 km/h I recorded at 3:18 am on May 6th has disappeared from WD (the gust was recorded and showing int he proper areas in WD and on the weather page). Today WD is saying the highest wind gust for the 6th is now 109 km/h.

I have done some looking around and now I am not even seeing the 114.2 km/h in the log file.

I know what I saw and the Davis Console is also saying there was indeed a 114 km/h gust.

Hi Jamie,

Indeed you did record 106.3 on the 5th and 114.2 yesterday.
I am surprised your station is still standing although you did have some down time as you were off line at midnight.
Your yesterday page shows clearly your 114.2:

Can you manually alter your log files as we can in Cumulus. You could just add it. I have no idea. Hopefully the WD boys can help.

Hi Jamie,
Have you checked to see if it is stored in your monthly records.?
Under "Action, Enter All Time Extreme Records"
You can choose the field to alter, then either Month, Yearly or All Time.
Hope this helps.
