Forecast in Brief for Monday the 18th June 2018



Northland, Auckland and Coromandel
Showers becoming widespread and heavier tomorrow morning, then easing in the afternoon with increasing fine spells.

Waikato to Wellington, including the central high country
Periods of rain developing overnight or in the morning. Some heavy falls tomorrow, with squally thunderstorms from Waikato to Whanganui.

Bay of Plenty, Gisborne, Hawkes Bay and Wairarapa
Occasional rain developing tomorrow morning, then becoming persistent about Wairarapa later in the day.

Marlborough and Nelson
Occasional rain or showers. Thunderstorms possible in the north and west until early morning.

Buller, Westland and Fiordland
Scattered rain or showers, with possible thunderstorms, clearing tomorrow morning to become fine.

Canterbury, Otago and Southland
Areas of low cloud or fog, especially in the east. Patchy rain and drizzle developing later tomorrow.

Chatham Islands
Cloudy periods and the odd shower.
