Forecast in Brief for Tuesday the 19th June 2018



Northland, Auckland and Coromandel
A few showers, some possibly heavy tonight and again later tomorrow.

Waikato to Taranaki, including Bay of Plenty, Taupo, Taihape and Taumarunui
Showers, some heavy with hail. A few squally thunderstorms in the west tonight and overnight. Clearing from the south tomorrow.

Gisborne and Hawkes Bay
Showers clearing overnight and becoming mostly fine, but showers spreading north tomorrow.

Whanganui to Wellington, also Wairarapa, Marlborough, Nelson, Buller
Rain spreading north overnight, with a few heavy falls. Rain easing to showers in Wairarapa, Wellington and coastal Marlborough tomorrow morning and clearing elsewhere.

Westland and Fiordland
Fine.

Canterbury, Otago and Southland
Low cloud, especially in the east. Patchy drizzle, becoming confined to the coast tomorrow.

Chatham Islands
A few showers turning to rain for a time tomorrow morning.
