Southern Westland and Fiordland
Cloud increasing. Rain developing in Fiordland this afternoon, and spreading further north tonight.

Marlborough and Canterbury
Mostly cloudy this morning, with patchy drizzle in the east. Becoming fine this afternoon.

Otago and Southland
Cloudy periods. Areas of drizzle about eastern Otago this morning and scattered light rain from evening.
