Cloudy, with drizzle turning to rain this evening.

Westland and Fiordland
Drizzle turning to periods of rain from the south, sometimes heavy and possibly thundery from this afternoon.

Nelson, Marlborough and Canterbury
Mostly fine, but isolated showers in Canterbury this afternoon and evening.

Otago
Cloudy areas. Scattered showers this afternoon and evening, some heavy and possibly thundery with hail.
