Today started out with a reasonable amount of cloud around but there was still some good warm spring sun. Temperature dropped a bit as the forecast rain moved in from the West at around 13:30 but mainly just a bit of on and off again drizzle and light rain until around 17:00 when the rain intensity increased to continuous and I had to turn the radio up in the Office. One single flash of lightning and a distant rumble of Thunder accompanied it. A jumper and slippers were required all day in the Office but no heater which has not been on for several weeks now. Still raining out there as I write this which is unusual as we do not normally get much rain from the South or West other than showers but all contributions towards filling our water tank are welcome.
