“Europe steadfastly refuses to move into spring and remains resolutely in winter.
 
“Now Spain, of all places, is dealing with snow in the north and center of the country. Quite a lot of it.
 
“Spaniards have really struggled to cope with the snow and torrential rain. Castilla la Manca region in central Spain is blanketed with heavy snowfall. There’s also been snowfall further north in the Basque country, where roads were closed.
 
“Forty two provinces in Spain have been put on alert due to the weather.
 
“Meanwhile, southern Spain deals with heavy rain and flooding.”
