Currently quite clear and 8°C having been up to a high of 15°C today.  Quite sunny during the day and a really nice afternoon.

Cloudy over Northland to start with breezy east to southeasterly winds, showers clear in the afternoon with sunny breaks then developing. Showers clearing early afternoon in Hawkes Bay and by evening in Gisborne, cold southeasterly winds ease later. It will remain dry in Wairarapa with sunny breaks from midday. Mostly sunny over the rest of the North Island with southeasterly breezes. Morning cloud breaking away in Wellington and Auckland, southeasterlies will be a bit fresh at times in both cities then easing later.

Temperatures today in the mid teens north of the Waikato and in the Bay of Plenty, low double figure high’s elsewhere. In the low teens for Taranaki. At night expect frosts in the Waikato and Central North Island.

Sunny skies over the South Island with light north to northeasterly breezes for most after morning frosts, perhaps a little cloud at times along the coast north of Christchurch. Morning cloud about the Kaikoura and Marlborough coastlines breaks to sunny periods. Some cloud will develop in Fiordland from afternoon and then drizzle there from evening.

Temperatures remaining cool between 9 or 11 degrees, a degree or two warmer about Nelson and north of Hokitika on the West Coast. At night expect frosts again for most regions.

Nice to have a fine day again wasn't it! Reasonably pleasant temps too, reached 16.1°C in Howick. Colder tonight though, 7.6°C currently.
