TuesdayNorth Island, the odd shower in the far north and a few showers from East Cape to Wairoa, mostly fine elsewhere but late cloud in the southwest. South Island, cloud increasing in the west, with drizzle spreading from the south into Westland, fine elsewhere apart from showers near Foveaux Strait.
WednesdayNorth Island, fine apart from a few cloudy areas, mainly in the northeast and from Taranaki to Wellington. South Island,cloud increasing in the west, and some rain or drizzle south of the Glaciers, fine or becoming fine elsewhere.
ThursdayNorth Island, fine apart from a few cloudy areas, mainly from Taranaki to Wellington with patchy drizzle there. South Island, rain or drizzle in the west, heavy falls south of the Glaciers,mainly fine in the east.
