A gorgeous blue domed sky in the Western BOP today and a light S to W breeze but man was it cold overnight, felt much colder than th -0.0 recorded on my Station.  Ground level air temp got down to -3.2 though.  Nice and warm 15.5 now (Max 17.2).  There was still frost on the bare ground of our building site at 10:15am this morning and it was in full sun!

Has been a beautiful winter day here, blue sky and crisp air, not much breeze and temp climbed to 13.9. Stating to drop now so will probably have a nice white vista outside again tomorrow morning.

A clear but chilly day in Auckland today. The high here was 12.1°C, the coolest of the year so far by at least 2 degrees. Cooling down rapidly tonight - already 6.8°C

Today's high in Waitakere was 12.7°C - crisp and clear at the moment, temperature was falling at about 1.2°C per hour, has plateaued a bit now and is currently 6.6°C - that's about 1°C less than this time yesterday

only thin fog at 6.30am but it thickened up before clearing at 11am. reached 7.9°C.
temp dropped very quickly early evening, but it's plateaued a bit now. currently 0.8°C.

Waitakere down to 5.6°C now, 1.5°C lower than the same time yesterday - if this carries on its going to be a pretty cold night. 
The MetService forecast for Waitakere is currently spot on for temperature, they're saying its 5.6°C now and dropping to 1.5°C overnight - we'll see.
