Forecast in Brief for Sunday the 1st July 2018



Northland to Waikato, also Coromandel, Bay of Plenty and Taupo
Mainly fine tonight. Cloud increasing tomorrow, with rain in the afternoon or evening, briefly heavy.

Waitomo to Kapiti, including Taumarunui and Taihape
Cloudy periods and isolated showers tonight. Periods of rain tomorrow, briefly heavy, with possible thunderstorms about Taranaki and Waitomo.

Gisborne and Hawkes Bay
Mostly fine, however scattered rain tomorrow afternoon or evening.

Wairarapa, Wellington, Marlborough and Nelson
Fine tonight. Rain tomorrow, with possible heavy falls, easing in the evening and clearing in Wellington and Marlborough. Northwest gales in exposed places tomorrow.

Buller, Westland, Fiordland
Cloudy with a few showers tonight. Periods of rain tomorrow, with heavy falls and possible thunderstorms.

Canterbury, Otago and Southland
Fine tonight. Partly cloudy tomorrow, with a few spots of rain.

Chatham Islands
Cloudy periods.
