Forecast in Brief for Friday the 8th June 2018



Northland to Waitomo, also Coromandel Peninsula, Taumarunui and Taupo
Fine, apart from a few areas of morning cloud.

Bay of Plenty, Gisborne and Hawkes Bay
Rain easing to showers this morning, then clearing later.

Taranaki and Taihape to Kapiti
A few showers, falling as snow above 700 metres. Showers clearing this morning and fine spells increasing.

Wellington, Wairarapa
Occasional showers, clearing this morning and becoming fine.

Nelson, Buller, Westland, Fiordland
Fine, with morning frosts. A few showers about the West Coast from evening.

Marlborough, Canterbury

The odd shower about Marlborough, North Canterbury and Banks Peninsula, clearing to fine this morning. Otherwise fine with morning frosts.

Otago, Southland
A few early morning showers about the south coast, and areas of morning low cloud or fog inland. Otherwise fine with morning frosts.

Chatham Islands
Showers.
