Forecast in Brief for Tuesday the 29th May 2018



Northland to Taumarunui, also Coromandel, Bay of Plenty and Taupo
Fine, with morning frosts in sheltered places.

Taranaki, Whanganui and Taihape to the Kapiti Coast
Fine spells and a few showers, with snow above 700 metres. Showers becoming mainly confined to high ground tomorrow.

Gisborne to Wairarapa and Wellington
Showers, some heavy with hail, easing this evening. Southerly gales about the coast easing tonight.

Coastal Marlborough and Canterbury
Showers becoming isolated and confined to Christchurch and Banks Peninsula tomorrow and becoming fine and frosty elsewhere.

Inland Marlborough, Nelson, Buller, Westland, Fiordland, Otago and Southland
Fine, with frosts morning and night.

Chatham Islands
Showers, with southerly gales easing overnight.
