Hmmmm this is hurting what is left of my brain.

I still think sitting on gabba is the best idea.

Haha - you are  more than welcome to come and visit, but we do have chairs that are used for sitting purposes.

Oh, and I'm not telling, but it is fun following the guesses. I can see why Jenny does this!

I guess it depends on the size of ones nose, but should you attempt it,  it would definitely clear ones airways  :P

These are the clues you have so far:

You would find this outside.
You cant eat it.
These come in all shapes and sizes.
You would not view these up close, only from a distance.
These are used in New Zealand.

Next clue and this should give it to you:
These would be used at night :)

The fact they are all shapes and sizes makes it seem more difficult. I am thinking sensor lights as well, then maybe they are not lights at all but alarms of some sort. Bum, this is just like doing a crossword, I hate to be beaten.

Ok now you are on the right track :) :) :)

Stay on that track and keep guessing. As I warned up top, I want exactly what they are :)

I think it is a pest trapping device for rats and mice and ferrets etc as used by DOC in the forest.  I think they have a motion sensor to trigger a count or notify management through wireless connection.  Sorry - this is just a guess I have not done any specific research so I am not cheating...

I think with the breathing holes, they are trying to keep something alive so it may be more for capturing live species for inspections, tagging and releasing.  Perhaps a trapdoor is engaged to keep them inside.
