WU-History Classic view php script Updates

For those running this script on their site . . .
Most of you will know that WU have been dicking about tinkering with their data files (our data?),
and the script has been useless on/off for a bit.

Jim McMurray (Juneau County Weather) has issued an update & it's available at http://jcweather.us/scripts.php.

Ken (Saratoga) has made a few amendments, mostly cosmetic from what I see, & his version is available from http://saratoga-weather.org/wxtemplates/Test/WU-History-inc.php?sce=view

I've been trying to get it running on my local WAMP, but no go. In frustration I threw at my web server . . .
 . . . and Eureka!! and light bulb moments!! and fireworks inside my eyes!!
Either my XP WAMP (older version) can't handle it, or some sort of config thing is required, wondering if it's something to do with SSL?

There's a PHP extension called php_openssl, tick that and away we go . .  Woopee
