I was slow in getting the Match 7 & 8 info in, so . . . .
Debs, Rwood, RobertHH, Phil, Smudge and bett were allocated Samoa & NZ, the default picks.
Valerie had already picked those, put popped them in the first post.

Strangely, nobody picked Japan to beat South Africa, nor Georgia to take care of Tonga   

Some of us started with a few upset picks which didn't come through, so we find ourselves at the tail of the field & chasing the pack.

Phil & Rex are slugging it out at the head of the field, and a few have dropped by the wayside.
The Scotland/Japan & England/Wales results have had the most affect on splitting up those of us still in the running.

It has certainly done what was intended, which was to provide a means of a tie-break.
Hopefully, that will still work for the last 4 games.

Commentary
Team Valerie has a bit of a march on the field, must have an astute analytical dude on the support staff.
That Opotiki fella is recovering after being caught in a ruck & trampled by Team JennyLeez in a rush into 2nd place. The sprig marks are now showing signs of improvement & the crusty bits have fallen off.   
Mark remains in touch & Phil, despite missing a handful of picks is not far off either.
And Phil still has the best strike rate.

Here's the latest up to the end of the Semi Finals.
My hopes that the less/more bit would be an effective tie break has hit a road bump. (pot hole more like  )
Looking at the picks so far, chances are that the last 2 matches will not bring about definite 1st 2nd & 3rd place getters. So, unless something unusual happens, it's looking very much like a count back on the less/more results will be required.

Commentary
Team Valerie has strengthened their position at the pointy end, and support staff member Harry the cat is definitely earning his keep.
Mark his leapt in to a share of 2nd place with JennyLeez while Phil must have had an off weekend as he has slipped down a few spots.
Phil's strike rate is still right up there, but has just been overtaken by Rwood, but on far fewer picks.
