World's tallest man may have stopped growing at 8ft 3in !!!!!

I know totally off topic, but 8ft 3in. Thats somewhat tall!!!!

Thanks to treatment by researchers at the University of Virginia Medical Center, the world's tallest man may have reached his peak.

Measuring at 2.51 metres (8ft 3in), 29-year-old Sultan Kosen of Turkey is listed in the 2011 Guinness World Records at the tallest living man.

Kosen visited the university in May 2010 for treatment for a disorder called acromegaly, which is usually caused by a tumor in the pituitary gland.

The Richmond Times-Dispatch reports that Kosen was placed on a new medication that could potentially help control the production of growth hormone and stop his continued growth.

According to university officials, doctors in Turkey say Kosen has stopped growing.
