It is zero and dropping to around minus 2 or 3 later this evening, humidity is between 75 and 92% over the day with a 10 mph wind from the north, temperatures are unlikely to reach 5 C at best over the next five days. Unfortunately the continued cold and high humidity are ensuring that the saturated ground, remains so. It is not good news for the farmers that are trying their best to prepare fields or the rest of us that just want to do a few things in the garden. We are not far away from the point in time, when most of the birds will be trying to build nests and raise their first chicks of the year, unfortunately there is little or no food for them and it is very unlikely to improve in that regard.
