Observation: Some of that Anti Cyclonic Gloom descended on us this morning, but largely burnt or moved off by early afternoon and then it got quite warm (23.3 at 15:48) again.  I was told that we also had some very light misty drizzle in the wee small hours of the morning.  And now, after five fine days two of which were stunning Blue Dome sky days we have had quite a heavy and prolonged shower and it is still raining, 0.6mm so far, and wouldn’t you know it . . .  I watered the fruit trees tonight for the first time since our last rain, go figure?  There is currently no wind which may explain why the rain is hanging around.
