I see you're quoting those Excel sheets. They're mostly OK but for the sunshine ones I noticed the final CliFlo values were a little different and the same may hold for temps. and rainfall. I have some fairly large tables for all 3 stats compiled from CliFlo but not sure I'd be allowed to post links directly to them as I had to collate the data from a couple of dozen regions and piece it together - it's not directly viewable in one "piece" for any of those stats.

Ok may have to just go by the values NIWA post in there monthly summarys for the main centres.

But if you want the averages for any given "region" - eg Christchurch - it's quite straightforward. Worth getting a free membership at CliFlo, believe me. No charges apply.

If you join up I can point out the way though it's quite easy and there is good help on the site.
