Beaut day here in Waitakere, sunny and warm in the deck when the sun is out, sheltered from the southerly wind which is pushing the odd cloud across in front of it.
Temperature has made it up to 14.4 deg C so far.

Alas, sun has gone from the deck - have retreated inside.  Temperature for us dropping quickly, our high was 14.7°C, now down to 11.2°C and it's still mainly clear - a cold night ahead if there is no cloud cover developing.

I see MetService are predicting 1°C temperatures overnight for Auckland for the next 3 nights...

My WXSIM run this morning gave the overnight low here as 4°C and it's getting close to that already - we're down to 5.4°C in Waitakere, almost 4°C down on same time yesterday.  Was pretty clear before dark so there is scope...
