Wind vane for WH1081
« on: June 04, 2012, 01:12:49 PM »
Wondering if any one has an old WH1081 or equivalent laying about not being used? Perhaps someone who has upgraded their station.
The wind vane on my station has jammed and I don't have the money to replace the whole system. Also could do with a new rain bucket, gale winds last year blew my station apart. Have glued and wired the bucket back together but it is not as accurate as it once was! Interestingly I notice that another 1081 station at Blueskin bay store, purchased around the same time as my one, also has a jammed wind vane, perhaps this is a fault with them.
Hope someone can help.

Yep I have these as spare parts but the freight to you would cost more than the part.
The last wind vane I purchased cost me $9 at Farmlands. Up to you I can send you some parts if want :)
