Auckland to Kapiti, also Coromandel, Bay of Plenty and the central high country
Any remaining showers about Taihape, Wanganui and south Taranaki clearing early morning, then becoming fine everywhere.

Gisborne and Hawkes Bay
Fine, apart from isolated coastal showers.

Wairarapa and Wellington
Scattered showers clearing by dawn then fine.

Nelson, Buller and Westland, also Marlborough and Canterbury
Fine, apart from a few light showers about Banks Peninsula at first.

Otago and Southland
Mainly fine, but a few showers about the south coast until late morning.

Fiordland
Cloud increasing tomorrow, with a few late showers.
