This morning I was playing around with rainfall and discovered that if I manually add up each months rainfall it does not equal the year to date rainfall that I have showing on WD. I have found the problem. My rain gauge was out of action last month and I did a manual change a couple of days after the event - as "adjust all rainfall totals by this amount" adjusts daily rainfall as well as month & year...I changed the monthly total and yearly total. It would seem my maths is bad and the yearly total was incorrectly adjusted.
To top it off....I have just read my manual gauge this afternoon and found that it captured 10mm since yesterday morning and I have recorded just 2.3 in WD since yesterday morning. I think the problem was caused by the fact that I moved the chicken coop and it's tin roof is blocking the signal...or the rain gauge is playing up. Will work on this problem later.
So now to fixing the rain totals - I went into offsets limits & rainfall totals and noticed that there is a new section - two images attached - rainfall_adjustments_original & rainfall_adjustments_new
So now I am wondering about when you use the new adjustment options versus the original adjustments.
