Canterbury, Otago, and Southland
Fine, apart from areas of morning cloud in the east.

Westland
Cloudy periods and isolated showers. However rain developing at night, some heavy and possibly thundery falls.

Fiordland
Cloud increasing and patchy rain developing in the morning.
