Bitter cold and snow for the West, Plains
« on: December 23, 2013, 01:12:56 PM »
Many locations across the central Plains will be at least 30 degrees colder Thursday compared to Wednesday.

Three to six inches of snow are expected across parts of Utah, Wyoming and western South Dakota through Friday.

A stronger storm will bring a mix of snow and ice this weekend from the southern Plains to the Midwest.

There is the potential for several inches of snow in Wichita, Kansas City, Moline and Milwaukee, while Chicago and Detroit will get a mix of snow and ice.
