Temperatures:Nuhaka hit the 34°C mark with the highest temperature this month. Reefton was close behind with 33.8°C with Swannanoa and Port Levy just behind with 33.5°C. Clyde and Arrowtown followed with 33.4°C.
The Lows for the month were Waimatuku with 2.1, Tokoroa with 2.8, Arthur's Pass and Clyde with 2.9 and Bishopdale with 3.3.
Rainfall:Arthur's Pass had a Rainfall Total of 311.9mm this month near on doubling the next high contenders Oban with 176.4mm, Ohauiti with 169.4mm, Russell with 152.4mm and Tapu Valley with 151.4.
The Daily rainfall high at Arthur's Pass of 89.2mm headed off Russell with a high daily rainfall of 81.8mm. Matamata had 55.3mm, Kerikeri 44.8mm and Waitakere 43.00mm.
Our Stations with the least amount of rainfall were on the East Coast of the NI. Napier, Gisborne, Mahia, Wairoa, Whangawehi, Nuhaka and Waipukurau.
Waikouaiti, Blenheim, Timaru and Clyde also had minimal rainfall during December.
Rain day tallies were Tokoroa with 21, Ohauiti 20, Lake Taupo 19, Paraonui 19 and Pongakawa with 18.
Wind:Plimmerton's 99.6 topped the High Gust this month followed by Arthur's Pass with 93.0, Maungaraki and Awhitu 85.4, Waimatuku 84.5 and Camborne with 83.7k/hr.
Awhitu had the highest Wind Speed with 65.7 followed by Plimmerton 63.3, Dargaville 60.7, Arthur's Pass 60.7, Makarewa 59.4 and Maungaraki with 59.3.
Awhitu once again had the highest Daily Windrun followed by Dargaville with 927.5, Waikawa Beach 802.7, Mangawhai Heads 734.3 and Camborne 711.1
Dargaville lead the way with the Month's Total Windrun with Camborne following on 12142.6, Awhitu on 11557.9 and Maungaraki 11352.6. From there a big drop down to Nuhaka and Kerkeri with 8649.9 and 8584.9 respectively.
