Question 5:[/color]
Why do they put Braille Dots on the keypad of drive through ATMs?
So that blind people can enter the pin number in without having to reveal it to the guide dog. The dog does the rest of the transaction pointing its paw at the appropriate places on the touch screen and barking out when to input how much cash is required (also requiring the braille keypad). Rumour has it that Dog trainers have had some difficulty in stopping the dogs from skimming a few dollars off from the money withdrawn to buy extra biscuits and there have been a few tweets posted about dogs who have learnt pin numbers and snuck off down to bank machines with the card to draw out extra cash to donate to dog homes. Banks are currently working on the next generation of ATM's which involves mind reading and fortune telling. Watch this space!!!
