However - just as I can't deny Wellington's pre-eminent position among world capitals for windiness - Invercargill (and NZ for that matter, thanks to the southern ocean) doesn't exactly sizzle in an average summer - Aberdeen at 57.2 N matches its mean summer temperature, Stockholm at 59.3N wallops it by 3.7C, and Trondheim at 63.4N just shades it.
