Nine dead as storms and floods hit Mediterranean
AT LEAST nine people have died in heavy rain and flooding on the French and Italian rivieras and in Greece.

Authorities in the Var region of France said four people died, including a couple in their 70s whose car became submerged and a man who was on a rescue boat that sank. The other victim was found in a vehicle.
