Observation:
Mainly Cloudy but reasonably warm, the grass in the orchard is still wet from a very heavy overnight dew and still way too wet to mow. Grrrrrrrrr! No Sun and only a very light breeze means very little drying, the grass has doubled in length this week. Interesting to note that the barometric range has been very narrow over the last 48 hours or so, mainly between 1012 and 1014 but now seems to be heading south?

Tokoroa - clouded over again, and the wind has renewed itself from the north 10-20km/hr. A high of 23.8ºC at 11:16 this morning, dropped two deg now at 21.2ºC 1:30pm in a choppy fashion as the sun comes out sometimes.

Observation:
The cloud has thickened up considerably and the cloud base has dropped in the last couple of hours. Very light and intermittent drizzle falling here now, just enough to really make sure that it will be a waste of time even trying to mow the orchard or lawn today. No recordable value yet.
