Hi all

A new quiz function has been added to the forum. The idea is that there are a range of short quizzes that you can complete, and then see how you get on against everyone else on the forum. Here's some instructions to get you started:

1: Access the quiz area by clicking on the word "Quiz" in the top menu.


2:You will end up at the main menu for the quiz area. It looks a bit like this:


From this screen you can select one of the random quizzes across the top, search for a quiz, or pick some of the commonly completed quizzes down the right hand side.

Scroll down further and you can the leader board, and the information board, which shows who has recently completed a quiz

3: Click on a quiz to select it. The following screen will show

This is the quiz properties screen. You can see some details and statistics about this particular quiz. Also at the end of the General Information section you will see three buttons. Click on the play button to open the quiz

4: Once you have clicked on the play button, the following screen will appear


This screen gives you some final details about the quiz you are about to start. Click on the"Start Quiz" button in the bottom left hand corner to start the quiz.

Most questions have time limits on them, but all the ones I've seen are multi choice

5: Adding in your own quiz
The quizzes loaded already are fairly generic, if UK based. Hence, submitting your own quiz is encouraged. This is easy to do. From the Quiz main menu (image in step 2 above), click on "User Quizzes"  (top right hand corner of the quiz main menu panel) and then on the next screen click on "Add New Quiz", and follow the instructions from there.
