Kapiti to Wellington, also Nelson, Marlborough and Canterbury
Areas of cloud this morning, otherwise fine.

Buller
Occasional showers.

Westland and Fiordland
Scattered rain clearing this morning then fine spells, but patchy drizzle developing this evening, and turning to rain in Fiordland.

Otago and Southland
Showers becoming confined to the south coast this morning, then slowly clearing.
