Any remaining showers clearing early morning, then fine.

Waitomo to Kapiti Coast, including the central high country, also Gisborne and Hawkes Bay
Mainly fine, apart from isolated afternoon and evening showers.

Wellington and Wairarapa
A few showers developing this morning, then clearing towards evening.

Nelson, Marlborough excluding the Kaikoura Coast, and Buller Mainly fine, however a few showers mainly west of Motueka and north of karamea.

Westland and Fiordland
Fine.

Kaikoura Coast and Canterbury
Isolated showers developing early morning, then clearing this afternoon and becoming fine.

Otago and Southland
A few showers, mainly about the coast, long fine spells inland.
