When the sun went down this evening there was not a cloud in the sky. We have just had a short sharp shower of rain, but not enough to trip the rain metre on my Weather Station. What strange weather we have! Ahhhh, maybe it was Irish rain seeing as it St Patrick's Day?

I had the same thing yesterday. Went to bed with a clear sky. Got up to gray sky and wet ground but nothing has registered on console.
Today is meant to be blue blue and more blue. Time alone will tell.

Tokoroa - yes a perfectly clear pastel coloured sky this morning, an overnight low of 9.5ºC and now 10.3ºC at 8:20am. hardly a breath of wind outside - just a very light sou-easter. Should be another 25deg day!

Was another gorgeous day in the Western BOP today, partly cloudy with more blue sky than clouds and a max temp of 23.5 at 15:08, enough Sun to get a bit burnt trimming the path edges this afternoon. Been a little more breezy today, Max Wind gust 32 at 23:03, just now? Highest Wind Average (10 Min): 15 at 13:54. But not at all cold.

It really was a lovely day here but this evening it has clouded up somewhat, a few small showers on the Kaimai Ranges and the Rain radar confirm that they are small and the wind is increasing from the east. Maybe some rain tomorrow?
