And this should be a really interesting game at Hamilton.
Power house South Africa, one off the favourites are up against 10th ranked Zimbabwe.

Rules
Pick a winner for the game & you will gain 3 points.
If the game is delayed for any reason & has to be replayed on a reserve day, your picks will carry over.
If the game ends as a draw, you will be awarded 1 point.
If the game is not completed for any reason whatsoever, you will gain 1 point.
Your picks need to be in reasonably promptly, so any received after kick off will be ignored . . . probably!!

South Africa struggled against our Black Caps recently at Hagley, but accounted for Sri Lanka relatively easily under the Duckworth Lewis formula a few days prior.

Zimbabwe have been playing well lately, well exceeding expectations & above their ranking & recently made our boys struggle at Lincoln and beat Sri Lanka at the same grounds.

So the result of this game could play a major part in the group standings.

Which way are you going to pick??

Cheers

Well, what a very interesting game!!

Zimbabwe won the toss & put Sth Africa in to bat, the minnows did well!
Here's a quote from the online commentary team
"The scorecard might suggest South Africa won this one convincingly, but there is no doubt about it,
Zimbabwe have issued a clear warning to the rest of the teams in Pool B. They were ahead of the cards
in the first half of each innings, but seemed to lose their way as they got into the business end of things.
Still, the promise and heart they showed will imbue great confidence within the side as they look to the
remainder of their matches. Hamilton Masakadza and Chamu Chibhabha were the main guns initially,
before Brendon Taylor added a run-a-ball 40, but it wasn't enough to get them over the line as that
30-run 48th over, courtesy of David Miller's swashbuckling bat, proved the difference ultimately."
