Manually changing Record
« on: January 27, 2015, 09:15:46 PM »
I was wanting to know if you use Action - Enter All Time Extreme Record to enter a record, if a new automated record comes along will it replace this manually set record. ie I set the max temperature to 32 and then the station records 33 does 33 then become the new temperature record or does it stay at 32?

Since my record was already stuffed, I decided to change it to a lower setting than the current temperature.  It changed briefly to what I had set, then I got a new record light flashing with the current temperature.  So we have the answer....a higher record will replace a manually set record :)

Good to see you found your answer, have only just seen your question (not all of us can spend all day logged on here  :P )

The set all time record is for if you have something that is abnormally high or low you can either fill in what you know is correct, or just do as you did to get a new result to set itself.
Can also be used as I did to set an all time record that occurred in your area before the station was set up.
