Hawkes Bay and Wairarapa
A few showers developing ths morning, then turning to rain for a time about Hawkes Bay in the afternoon.

Nelson, Buller and Westland
Fine.

Marlborough, Canterbury and North Otago
Fine at first. Cloud increasing from this afternoon and patchy drizzle developing tonight.

Central Otago, Dunedin, Clutha and Southland
Mostly cloudy. Scattered rain about Southland, spreading elsewhere for a time this morning.

Fiordland
Rain, easing this evening.

Chatham Islands
