Remainder of Canterbury, also Otago and Southland
High cloud increasing this afternoon and scattered rain developing from Otago southwards this evening.

Buller and northern Westland
Rain clearing early morning, then fine spells. However, rain returning later.

Southern Westland and Fiordland
Isolated showers turning to rain this morning, with heavy and possibly thundery falls from afternoon.
