Patchy drizzle spreading north, turning to rain in Fiordland this morning and Westland during the evening, with some heavy falls in Fiordland.

Southland and Otago
Mainly fine. Scattered rain developing about Southland and the Southern Lakes this evening, then spreading to the rest of Otago overnight.

Chatham Islands
Cloudy periods and occasional light showers.
