687 hospitalised in Japan's apparent 'Heat Wave'

Some 687 people were hospitalized in Japan due to hot weather in the past week. The peak of this summer's heat wave in Japan came on July 26, when the thermometer read more than 95 degrees Fahrenheit at 230 of Japan's 920 meteorological stations and more than 86 degrees F at 702 stations.
Thats 35°C and 30°C
I dont consider that hot hot. We have weeks like that although thankfully not this year. I have never considered calling it a 'heat wave'
They are just woosy

It's not so much the temperature and more the rate at which it changes along with humidity. Dry heat along with dry cold is much more tolerable than humidity which stops your body from functioning properly. Rapid changes in temperature are extremely difficult to acclimatise to and can make you extremely ill.
