On the ferry soon to sail over the sea to Picton
Raining and windy, the sea looks rough. Hope it is not an omen.
No idea what the temperature is but it is cold.

Last nights rainfall in Northland has caused yet more issues for the region - flooding, slips etc. There are road closures while services try and clear things

A dreary start, almost balmy temps overnight 10-13, 100% cloud, no rain . . . yet, humidity 70%.

Not a great deal of rain here from the front that has drenched Northland again - 9 mm in total (5.8 mm yesterday + 3.2 mm since midnight).
It's wet, overcast and cold - definitely an inside day.
