Wellington.
On the ferry soon to sail over the sea to Picton
Raining and windy, the sea looks rough. Hope it is not an omen.
No idea what the temperature is but it is cold.

Last nights rainfall in Northland has caused yet more issues for the region - flooding, slips etc. There are road closures while services try and clear things

Waitakere
Not a great deal of rain here from the front that has drenched Northland again - 9 mm in total (5.8 mm yesterday + 3.2 mm since midnight).
It's wet, overcast and cold - definitely an inside day.
Current conditions
Temperature 9.9°C
Humidity 92%
Pressure 993.8 hPa rising
Rain 3.2 mm (not currently raining)
Wind not excessive - I'm recording light northwesterly, but realistically it is southeasterly out of the shelter of our bush and surrounding hills.
