Extremely windy up here in the Waitakeres, and we're not getting the worst of it where we are.
While I'm only seeing gusts getting up towards 40 km/h, up the hill it would be double that for sure. The noise in the trees is scary, you hear it building and building. Time to go to the quieter end of the house and go to bed, doggy will be happy to retreat their with me.

Waitakere:
Still very windy, but possibly has dropped a bit. Rain has missed us, just 5.2 mm yesterday.
Currently 11.9°C, 92% with 1.4 mm rain since midnight, baro 1009.5 hPa rising slowly.
Remarkably, with power outages everywhere around us, we have stayed on.
