Wild storms hit towns south of Sydney 4th of April
« on: April 04, 2014, 04:21:34 PM »
Wild storms have wreaked havoc on communities south of Sydney, rupturing a gas main, partially closing a railway line and ripping a large awning off the side of a pub.

Residents of the small town of Bargo, south of Sydney, say lightning has been striking from all directions.

The line of storms extends all the way back into the hills in the back of Sydney.

West of Wollongong received 100 millimetres of rain over just one hour.
